Terrapin’s Bill Browning will be presenting at the Fraunhofer IAO’s “Zukunftsforum 2015” or “Future Forum 2015” on the 29th of January, 2015. Bill will be speaking about biophilic design in relation to this year’s theme, “Working Smarter – People, Rooms, and Technologies.” Biophilic design has proven health benefits such as improved concentration, reduced stress and enhanced creativity, all areas that will help people and businesses work smarter. Bill will expound upon the economic rewards of using biophilic design as outlined previously in Terrapin’s publication, “The Economics of Biophilia.” The Forum will be attended by various decision-makers, organizational leaders, HR managers, IT specialists, planners and real estate managers.
The Fraunhofer IAO is located in Stuttgart, Germany and focuses on technology management. Through the partnership of University of Stuttgart, Fraunhofer helps businesses identify technologies relevant to them, and then maps the competitive environment and market for deployment of those technologies.
