Experience:

College of Environmental Studies, Peking University

The recently formed Peking University College of Environmental Science brings together six previously disparate departments within this moderately sized University in “the Heart of China.” Bill Browning was brought in to steer an environmental opportunities charrette – bringing together architects, University officials, and government officials to develop a responsible resource management plan – and to provide ongoing consultation. The project is designed to achieve Gold status in the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED™ for New Construction Program and serve as a demonstration green building project during the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
