Experience:

California State University, Sacramento Campus

The site for California State University - Sacramento’s proposed satellite campus included a severely damaged creek and adjoined a landfill. Bill served as a consultant to the project team, focusing on the master plan and climatic aspects of the development. Final recommendations included capturing methane from the landfill to generate “free” power while mitigating climate change, and improving the creek system to turn it into a defining centerpiece of the site. These strategies will reduce the environmental impact of the campus and adjacent neighborhoods.
