Skanska Office
Located on the 32nd floor of the Empire State Building, the new 24,000 square foot office of Skanska USA is a LEED Platinum interior in America’s most famous skyscraper. Terrapin convened and facilitated the project’s Environmental Opportunities Charrette, a chance to explore sensible strategies for achieving a high-performance workplace. By working to incorporate environmental performance goals into the project during the design phase, the team was able to minimize costs while creating a beautiful, functional, and inspiring space.
