Experience:

MTA Blue Ribbon Commission

The Blue Ribbon Commission of the Metropolitan Transportation Authority is charged with setting new standards for sustainability throughout the country’s largest public transit system. Bob Fox serves as an expert advisor to the Commission, working to help implement a comprehensive sustainability program for the MTA’s facilities, operations, and future capital planning. The Commission has issued its first report on sustainability, which provides a roadmap for achieving significant reductions in energy use, water use, and expenses throughout the city’s transit system, while increasing operational efficiency in the subway, bus, and commuter rail systems. Detailed Terrapin Case Studies are available in the Workroom, our private extranet full of detailed information and resources to help you make an informed decision.
