Experience:

Xihu Tiandi

Building upon the success of Shui-On Holdings’ Xin Tiandi development in Shanghai – which become the most successful real estate venture in China by introducing European outdoor café eating, boutique shopping, and clubs to the city – Xihu Tiandi in Hangzhou offers a modern vision of urban living that emphasizes the areas unique gardens and historical architecture. Transforming the festival marketplace on the shores of historic West Lake involved a massive effort to combine existing structure adaptation, historic preservation, and new sustainable development. Bill Browning developed environmental performance strategies for the site through an Environmental Opportunities Charrette with Shui-On Holdings, Wood Zapata Architects, and other experts. Detailed Terrapin Case Studies are available in the Workroom, our private extranet full of detailed information and resources to help you make an informed decision.
